WHO WE SUPPORT
AS Purposeful supports greater inclusion for neurodiverse Australians of all ages, as well their communities. We have a particular interest in supporting young people, including by providing innovative evidence-based services to increase school and social participation.
Neurodiverse People
- Young people and adults who have autism with low support needs (previously referred to as "high functioning autism" or "Asperger's")
- Young people and adults who have related challenges, such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Young people and adults who find structure beneficial, regardless of any particular labels
Teachers and Schools
- Primary teachers who work with neurodiverse children and students with related emotional and behavioural challenges
- Secondary teachers who work with neurodiverse young people and students with related challenges
- Vocational educators, teachers aides, and others who support students with autism or related challenges
Community Groups
- Inclusive organisations that support social inclusion for neurodiverse children and young adults
- Employees of community organisations that support community participation for neurodiverse children and young adults
- Volunteers for inclusive community groups that welcome children and young people with autism and related challenges
